The illegal trade in wildlife remains one of the most pressing threats to biodiversity, animal welfare, and public health. At the conference, we will have an interactive workshop which will bring together a diverse group of participants, from NGOs, rescue centers, law enforcement agencies, and government departments, uniting experts and practitioners from across Asia and beyond.

WARN members have recently been involved with assistance in enforcement of wildlife protection laws in Bangla-desh, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Were government officials at some times need professional help in confiscating wildlife, re-locating wild animals or help with catching escaped wildlife from zoos or “pets” WARN is always ready to get involved and offer assistance, anywhere in our region!
