Wildlife conservation requires more than responding to animals in need. It involves rehabilitation, habitat protection, public awareness, and long-term approaches that support the coexistence of people and wildlife.
International Gibbon Day

Today is International Gibbon Day!
Gibbons are among Asia’s most impressive forest specialists. They are acrobatic, social, and known for their distinctive songs. Sadly, all 20 gibbon species are threatened with extinction.
Their conservation reminds us that protecting wildlife means more than protecting individual animals. It also means protecting forests, supporting local communities, reducing threats, strengthening conservation partnerships, and finding sustainable ways for people and animals to benefit from nature.
These are the topics we will be exploring at the 2026 WARN Asia Conference, under the theme “Merging Animal Rescue and Ecotourism for Wildlife Conservation.”
