From animal rescue to lasting conservation

Wildlife conservation requires more than responding to animals in need. It involves rehabilitation, habitat protection, public awareness, and long-term approaches that support the coexistence of people and wildlife.

The relationship between animal rescue and ecotourism offers important opportunities to explore how conservation efforts can be strengthened. When developed responsibly, ecotourism can help raise awareness of wildlife, encourage appreciation for natural habitats, and support conservation initiatives.

These connections are at the heart of the 2026 WARN Asia Conference, under the theme “Merging Animal Rescue and Ecotourism for Wildlife Conservation.”

With less than a month to go, we are looking forward to bringing participants together to exchange knowledge and share their approaches to wildlife conservation.
