Tiger Welfare Workshop 2025

WARN Asia is thrilled to have been a part of the Tiger Welfare Workshop 2025, alongside Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT), For Tigers, and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP).

Held over three days at the beautiful I-Love-Phants Lodge, the workshop brought together dedicated participants from DNP rescue centres across Thailand that care for tigers.

Together, we focused on improving animal welfare, safety, and nutrition – diving into key principles of tiger care, and exploring the impact of enrichments. On the final day, participants took part in a hands-on session where they created enrichment items for the WFFT tigers – then had the incredible opportunity to watch the tigers interact and play with their creations.

We are proud to have contributed to this important effort and to support the ongoing mission of improving the lives of captive tigers in Thailand.

The workshop was a resounding success, fostering new connections, valuable insights, and innovative tools in the fight against the illegal wildlife trade.
